I’m constantly making the trip between Sullivan County, and Chemung County, NY to visit my parents. Each time, I try and take a different route. This most recent trip produced an exceptional White Oak located in the town of Deposit, NY. Located on the property of what seems to be an old farmhouse, these two Oaks were very impressive. Especially the one featured first. When asking permission to photograph the trees, the son of the original owners mentioned there used to be many more oaks of this size all over. But slowly they came down for various reasons. Hoping to find more in the area.
